A pianist, composer and arranger trained at Mexico’s Escuela Superior de Música, with two albums of her own —Hilando Lunas and Leitmotiv— and stages in Mexico, Bolivia and the Philippines, Dulce Resillas knows jazz from the keyboard and from the organizer’s seat.

Cada martes, conversaciones con quienes hacen la escena y música que vale la pena apuntar en la agenda.

El 23 de septiembre de 1926 nació en Hamlet, Carolina del Norte, el músico que convirtió el saxofón en una búsqueda espiritual. A cien años, dos noches para recorrer su obra: de las sesiones con Miles Davis y Thelonious Monk a Giant Steps, A Love Supreme y los territorios libres de sus últimos años.

On September 23, 1926, in Hamlet, North Carolina, the musician who turned the saxophone into a spiritual quest was born. A century later, two nights to travel through his work: from his sessions with Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk to Giant Steps, A Love Supreme and the free territories of his final years.
